These sliders are everything you want for game day: hands-off, crowd-friendly, and packed with sweet-spicy flavor. The pork cooks low and slow until it falls apart, then gets tossed in BBQ K-Mama Sauce for the ultimate finish. Perfect for the Super Bowl, watch parties, or anytime you want a no-stress meal that feeds a crowd.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 bottle BBQ K-Mama Sauce
- Water (to refill the empty sauce bottle)
- Slider buns
- Kimchi
- Coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)
Cook the Pork You’ll want to cook the pork first, then add the BBQ sauce at the end so it stays bold and flavorful.
Option 1: Slow Cooker (Best for Game Day)
- Place the pork shoulder in your slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the pork is very tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
- Remove the pork from the cooker and shred it using two forks. Discard excess fat if needed.
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Place pork shoulder in a covered Dutch oven or tightly wrapped baking dish.
- Cook for 3½–4 hours, until fork-tender.
- Remove and shred.
- Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker (or a large pot).
- Pour in 1 full bottle of BBQ K-Mama Sauce.
- Fill the empty bottle with water, shake, and add that to the pork.
- Stir well to coat.
- Cook on LOW for 30–45 minutes, just to let the flavors soak in and thicken slightly.
No one can resist smoky BBQ with a gochujang kick paired with tangy kimchi, which cuts the richness. The pork reheats beautifully, so you can have leftovers or even make it a day early and warm it up before kickoff.
