If grilling has become boring, you need to try this quick & easy Korean BBQ recipe. You can make it on your stovetop, so you technically don't need your grill. This recipe is intended for 4, but easy to double. Korean BBQ is more about the spread than rules; feel free to mix and match your favorite banchan or Korean sides.

Ingredients:
- lb (16 oz) steak tips
- 4 cups Korean BBQ marinade (We used a jar of CJ’s Korean BBQ – Original)
- Cooked white rice
- Romaine or butter lettuce for wraps
- K-Mama Sauce (we love Spicy on ours)
- Ssamjang sauce (optional but recommended)
- Kimchi (classic cabbage or any kind you love)
- Optional banchan (side dishes): like cucumber kimchi, green onion kimchi, spicy squid, perilla leaves
Instructions:
- Marinate your steak tips in the Korean BBQ marinade for at least 1 hour. This is a great time to prep your rice and set out your favorite banchan (Korean side dishes).
- Heat a pan on medium-high. Add a little oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Once the pan is hot, cook your steak tips. About 8–10 minutes total, flipping halfway. Go shorter for pinker meat, longer for a nice char.
- Remove steak and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and or serving.
- Set the table with lettuce wraps, rice, banchan, sauces, steak, and all your fixings.
- Build your wrap (aka ssam): lettuce + ssamjang + rice + steak + kimchi + drizzle of K-Mama + optional perilla leaf = chef’s kiss.
Tip: You can totally grill the meat instead, but this stovetop method brings all the flavor with half the effort. Perfect for rainy days or lazy nights.
