Kimchi Grilled Cheese : Your New Obsession

Sometimes the best meals are the simplest ones, and this one is quick, tangy, melty, and just easy. Perfect for busy weeknights, lazy weekends, or your college dorm cook looking for something besides instant noodles.

What you'll need: Ingredients List

  • 2 slices sourdough bread (we used Turtle Bread in the video)
  •  1-2 Tbsp butter 
  •  1-2 Tbsp K-Mama Sauce (any spice level you love) 
  • 4 slices of mozzarella 
  •  ¼ cup kimchi
  • How to Make:

    1. Butter one side of each slice of bread. 
    2.  Flip the slices, butter again.
    3. Spread about 1 Tbsp K-Mama Sauce on the inside. 
    4.  Layer on the mozzarella and kimchi. 
    5.  Place the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat. 
    6. Grill until the bread is golden and crispy and the cheese is gooey. 
    7.  Flip and repeat on the other side.


The creaminess of the mozzarella balances the kimchi perfectly.  This is the kind of sandwich that tastes like you tried harder than you did. Enjoy!
